Kybella
Kybella is a non-surgical treatment used to get rid of fat under the chin. Kybella is made up of deoxycholic acid which is a natural occurring molecule that aids in breaking down and absorbing the fat.
About the procedure
Kybella will be injected into the fat under the chin. It will then begin to destroy the fat cells. Once the fat cells are destroyed, the cells can no longer accumulate fat. This means once you reach your desired goal, no more treatments will be needed.
The treatment
During this treatment you will receive small injections under your chin. This will take 10-20 minutes. The amount of treatments needed will depend on the amount of fat you have under your chin. It is best to schedule a consultation before hand. There is a 2 treatment minimum with most patients needing 3-4 treatments total. Each treatment will be every 4-8 weeks until desired goal is achieved.

After care
After Kybella treatment, you WILL have swelling and may likely have some bruising or numbness under your chin that can last for 2-4 weeks after the treatment.
