Kybella
Kybella is a non-surgical treatment used to get rid of fat under the chin. Kybella is made up of deoxycholic acid which is a natural occurring molecule that aids in breaking down and absorbing the fat.
During this treatment you will receive small injections under your chin. This will take 10-20 minutes. The amount of treatments needed will depend on the amount of fat you have under your chin. It is best to schedule a consultation before hand. There is a 2 treatment minimum with most patients needing 3-4 treatments total. Each treatment will be every 4-8 weeks until desired goal is achieved.
How long do Kybella results last? Results are generally permanent as the fat cells that are destroyed do not return. However, maintaining a healthy lifestyle is important to prevent new fat from accumulating in the area.
